Terms of Service

1. What ClipperyAI is

ClipperyAI (the "Service") is operated by Syed Marij Ali, an individual based in Pakistan ("we", "us"). It is a tool that takes a long video (one you upload, or a link you paste to a video hosted elsewhere) and automatically produces shorter vertical clips with captions, for you to download and post yourself. It is video editing software: it edits the footage you provide (trimming, reframing and captioning it). It does not create new images, video, audio, voices or other synthetic media, and it has no face-swap, voice-cloning or deepfake features. It is built for creators, podcasters, speakers, streamers and teams repurposing their own recordings, or recordings they are licensed or authorised to use. We do not review, curate, or take editorial responsibility for the content you submit; the Service is automated.

2. Your account

You need an account (email and password, or another sign-in method we offer) to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create one.

3. Your content, and your responsibility for it

You keep ownership of whatever you upload and whatever clips are cut from it. By submitting a video or a link, you confirm that:

• You own the content, or you have the rights and permissions needed to have it processed and to post the resulting clips.
• Submitting it, and posting the clips we produce, doesn't violate someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
• If you paste a link to a video hosted on another site (e.g. YouTube), that link is a convenience so you don't have to download and re-upload your own file. Only paste links to videos you own, that you have permission to use (for example a client's, a guest's or a collaborator's recording), or that are licensed in a way that allows reuse. You're responsible for complying with that site's own terms of service; we don't warrant that any particular link will work, or that it is permitted by the source site.
• You won't use the Service to copy, re-upload or monetise other people's videos without their permission, or to get around any access control, paywall, DRM or technical protection on a video.

The Service is not a tool for downloading or redistributing other people's content, and we don't provide downloads of the original source video. Accounts that repeatedly submit content they have no right to use will be terminated.

We may remove content or suspend an account if we're notified of a credible infringement or legal claim, or if we reasonably believe the Service is being used to violate these Terms or the law.

4. Copyright complaints

If you believe a clip produced through the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at syedmaarij61@gmail.com with the material's location, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized. We'll act on credible notices, which may include removing the content and/or suspending the account that submitted it.

5. Plans, minutes, and payment

The Service is offered on a free plan and on paid monthly plans. What each plan includes (monthly minutes, the longest video you can submit, clips per video, and how long clips are kept) is shown in the pricing section of our site and in your studio account. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) may be added at checkout depending on where you live.

Minutes. Processing a video uses one minute of your balance for each minute of the source video. Your plan adds its monthly minutes to your balance each billing period, and you can also buy one-time minute packs. Minutes in your balance don't expire while your account is open. If a video fails to process because of an error on our side, the minutes it reserved are returned to your balance automatically.

Subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically every month at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the studio ("Manage subscription"). You keep your plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We may change prices for future billing periods and will tell you in advance, by email or in the studio.

Payments and refunds. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and payment provider, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. It provides payment-related customer service and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to that provider's buyer terms, which are linked from the checkout and from your receipt. 6. How long we keep things

The original video you upload is deleted from our storage once your clips have been produced. Finished clips are kept for a limited number of days shown on your plan (currently 3–14 days depending on plan) and then automatically deleted. Download anything you want to keep before then. You can delete a job and its clips yourself at any time from the studio.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to process content that is illegal, that you don't have the rights to (including other people's videos pasted from the web without permission), or that's intended to harass, defame, or deceive. Don't try to abuse, overload, or circumvent the Service's rate limits or access controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is." Clip selection, framing, and captions are produced automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or occasionally unavailable; we don't guarantee a particular result, uptime, or that any specific video link will be downloadable. You're responsible for reviewing a clip before you post it anywhere.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost revenue or lost content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose (or, if you're on the free plan, a nominal amount, e.g. $20).

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law: these Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law where you live.
