Privacy Policy

ClipperyAI is operated by Syed Marij Ali, an individual based in Pakistan, who is responsible for the personal data described here. This page explains what we collect, who handles it, and how to have it deleted.
1. What we collect
- Account info: your email address and password (password is handled by our auth provider, Supabase; we never see or store it in plain text ourselves).
- What you submit: the video file you upload, or the link you paste, plus any settings you choose (aspect ratio, number of clips, clip length).
- What we produce: the clips, thumbnails, and captions produced from your video, and the transcript used internally to produce them.
- Usage records: which jobs you ran, when, how long they took, and how many minutes of video they used against your plan.
- Support messages: if you use the live chat or the contact form, we keep your messages, your name and email address, and our replies, so we can help you and follow up. We may email you our reply.
- Billing info: when you buy something, our payment provider collects your payment details. We receive your email, the plan or pack you bought, your subscription status, and transaction references, never your card number.
If you accept, we use Google Analytics (GA4) on our public pages (the home page, blog, legal pages and contact page) to count visits and see which pages people read and where they come from. It sets cookies and sends page-view data, including your IP address, to Google. Nothing is sent to Google unless you accept the cookie notice. We don't use it inside the studio, where you sign in and handle your videos, and we don't run advertising trackers or tracking pixels. Our fonts are served from our own site, not from a third party.
2. Who processes your video, and why
We don't do this ourselves on our own servers: the actual work is done by these outside services, each only seeing what it needs to do its part:

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data passing through their systems. We choose providers that don't use submitted content to train their own models where we can confirm that, but we can't control their policies. Check the provider's own terms if this matters to you.
If you paste a link to a video on another site (e.g. YouTube) instead of uploading a file, that site also independently logs the request, outside of our control.
3. Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and payment provider, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. It collects and processes your payment details, handles taxes and refunds, and acts as an independent controller of the personal data it collects from you. Its use of your data is described in its own privacy notice, which is linked from the checkout and from your receipts. It keeps its own transaction records for as long as tax and financial law require, including after you delete your account here.
4. How long we keep things
- The original video you upload is deleted right after your clips are produced. We don't keep a copy.
- Finished clips are kept for a limited number of days set by your plan (currently 3–14 days) and then automatically deleted, or sooner if you delete the job yourself.
- Account and usage records are kept for as long as your account exists.
- Support chats are deleted with your account. Contact-form messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request; email us if you'd like yours deleted.
5. Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account from the studio's account menu ("Delete account"). This immediately and permanently removes every video job, finished clip, and usage record tied to your account, along with the account itself. It cannot be undone or recovered. If you have an active subscription, we cancel it first. You can also email syedmaarij61@gmail.com to request this instead.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Account deletion (above) covers export/deletion in practice; for anything else, contact syedmaarij61@gmail.com.
7. Cookies
The studio uses only what's needed to keep you signed in (an authentication token stored by your browser via our auth provider). Our public pages set Google Analytics cookies only if you accept the cookie notice. You can change your choice any time with cookie settings, or block or delete the cookies in your browser. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by this site.
8. Children
The Service isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
If this changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
